(1) High activity in controlling growth: As a gibberellin synthesis inhibitor, Uniconazole performs well in controlling vegetative growth, inhibiting cell elongation, shortening internodes, and dwarfing plants. It can also promote lateral bud growth and flower bud formation, and improve stress resistance. Its activity is 6-10 times higher than that of paclobutrazol, making the growth control effect more significant.
(2) Low residue and environmental protection: In the soil, the biological residue of Uniconazole is only 1/5-1/3 of that of paclobutrazol, and the efficacy decays rapidly, with minimal impact on subsequent crops. If foliar spraying is used, it has almost no impact on the next crop, reflecting its environmental protection characteristics.
(3) Increase yield and improve quality: Uniconazole not only inhibits crop vegetative growth, but also promotes root growth, enhances photosynthesis, and inhibits respiration. At the same time, it can protect cell membranes and organelle membranes, improve crop stress resistance, significantly increase fruit setting rate, and increase soluble protein and total sugar content, thereby achieving a significant increase in yield.
(4) Broad-spectrum fungicide: Uniconazole also has fungicide activity and can effectively prevent and treat various diseases such as anthracnose, leaf spot, powdery mildew, root rot, etc., ensuring the healthy growth of crops.
