Forchlorfenuron is mainly used in kiwifruit cultivation to promote fruit enlargement, increase yield, and improve quality. However, strict control of the concentration and application method is necessary to avoid the risk of exceeding the permitted levels.
Forchlorfenuron Application Methods
Optimal Timing: 20-25 days after flowering, soak young fruit in a 5-10 mg/kg solution, or spray twice with a 10 ppm solution 21 days after flowering.
Concentration and Application: The common concentration is 0.1% soluble liquid (5-20 ml diluted in 1 kg of water), applied through soaking or spraying.
