Thidiazuron application on kiwifruit
Thidiazuron application on kiwifruit should be tailored to the growth stage. It's primarily used to promote fruit development and control diseases. Key periods include the spring sprout stage, the full bud stage, 15 days after flowering, and around the time of fruit harvest in autumn. Use a spray spray at a concentration of 10-20 ppm. Avoid application during high temperatures to prevent phytotoxicity.

Thiazuron Application Period and Method
Thidiazuron application on kiwifruit should be strictly aligned with the growth stage. The specific application plan is as follows:
Spring sprout stage (when new shoots have 3-4 leaves): Dilute thiazuron in water and spray the entire plant to promote robust new shoot growth.

Full bud stage: Mix thiazuron with calcium fertilizer and spray to enhance bud resistance and prevent flower drop. ‌‌
‌15 days after flowering (young fruit stage): Spray the entire plant with a 20ppm Thidiazuron solution to promote seed development and reduce fruit deformities. Late-maturing varieties require a gibberellin (75% or higher) solution for enhanced results.

‌Autumn around the time of fruit harvest (September-October): Spray a 0.2% Thidiazuron solution to aid callus formation and improve the tree's frost resistance. ‌‌

Precautions for Using Thidiazuron
‌Concentration Control: Strictly adhere to a range of 10-20ppm. Higher concentrations can cause fruit burns or warping. ‌‌
‌Environmental Requirements: Suitable temperatures are 15-28°C and humidity is 60%-80%. Avoid applying on rainy days. If rain occurs within 6 hours of application, re-spray. ‌‌
‌Safety Interval: Wait at least 15-20 days before harvest to ensure pesticide residues meet standards. ‌‌
‌First Trial: For new orchards or varieties, test on a small scale (1-2 plants) and observe for 3-5 days to ensure no damage before promoting the product.
