Functions
Naphthyl Acetic Acid (NAA) is primarily used to regulate the growth cycle of crops such as tomatoes and cucumbers, offering multiple benefits including promoting growth, increasing yield, and improving quality.

Naphthyl Acetic Acid Promotes Growth and Enhances Stress Resistance: Spraying cucumber seedlings with a 10 mg/L Naphthyl Acetic Acid solution 1-2 times before transplanting can promote plant growth and enhance stress resistance. Spraying tomatoes with an appropriate concentration during the growing season can promote lush foliage and robust plant growth.

Naphthyl Acetic Acid Can Protect Flowers and Fruits and Prevent Fruit Drop: Spraying tomatoes with a 10-20 mg/L Naphthyl Acetic Acid solution during flowering can reduce flower and fruit drop and increase fruit set by 15%-30%. The mechanism is to inhibit abscission layer formation and delay fruit stalk detachment. Treating cucumber seedlings with the same concentration of solution can achieve similar effects. Naphthyl Acetic Acid Promotes Seed Treatment and Germination Rate: Soaking cucumber seeds in a 20-60 mg/L Naphthyl Acetic Acid solution for 5-8 hours before sowing can improve germination rate and enhance seedling cold resistance. Tomato seed soaking has a similar effect.

Naphthyl Acetic Acid Promotes Fruit Enlargement and Quality Improvement: Naphthyl Acetic Acid promotes cell division and expansion, leading to faster fruit enlargement in tomatoes, cucumbers, and other fruits. For example, it increases the number of female flowers and fruit yield in cucumbers; spraying tomatoes with it can also improve fruit quality and enhance disease resistance.
