13th National Plant Growth Regulator Industry Conference Held in Hebi Henan

On September 19–20, 2026, the 13th Conference on the Development and Application of Plant Growth Regulators—hosted by the China Association for Pesticide Development and Application—was held in Hebi, Henan Province. Attended by nearly 300 representatives from across the entire industry chain, it stood as the year's highest-level national conference in the sector.

Conference Theme: Synergizing Innovation to Boost Quality and Yield—Promoting the Industrialization and Scientific, Safe Application of Plant Growth Regulators.

The conference identified plant growth regulators as a key lever for stabilizing grain production capacity and advancing the green transformation of agriculture. It outlined three major directions for industry development: focusing on differentiated innovation, expanding application scenarios across the entire crop growth cycle, and strengthening the regulation of online sales. Particular emphasis was placed on meeting essential market demands, such as the "one spray, three preventions" strategy for wheat and the "one spray, multiple promotions" approach for grain and oil crops during their mid-to-late growth stages.

A representative from the Efficacy Review Division of the Institute for the Control of Agrochemicals, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs (ICAMA), provided an on-site interpretation of the latest requirements for efficacy evaluation in plant growth regulator registration. They clarified the standards for submitting efficacy trials and assessment data, offering official guidance to help enterprises ensure regulatory compliance.
