DCPTA can significantly increase the number of pegs (gynophores) in peanuts and promote pod enlargement; actual field trials have demonstrated yield increases ranging from 20% to 25%, with some high-yielding plots approaching a 30% increase. However, claims of a 50% yield increase lack sufficient empirical support.


As a novel plant growth regulator, DCPTA plays multiple roles in peanut cultivation:

Promoting Peg Formation: Applying a foliar fertilizer containing DCPTA during the initial flowering stage stimulates flower bud differentiation, increasing the number of effective pegs per plant by 25% to 30% and enhancing the rate of successful pod setting after peg penetration into the soil.

Pod Enlargement and Weight Gain: When combined with brassinolide and phosphorus-potassium nutrients, DCPTA facilitates the translocation of photosynthetic products to the pods. Field trials have shown a 22% increase in pod filling rate, an 8–10 g increase in 1,000-seed weight, and a significant reduction in the rate of empty pods.
Stress Resistance and Anti-Senescence: It delays leaf senescence, extends the pod-filling period by 10 to 15 days, and enhances resistance to drought and disease, thereby safeguarding yield formation during the later stages of growth.
Recommended Application Schedule:


Flowering and Pegging Stage (when 50% of plants are in bloom): Apply a foliar spray mixture of Foliar Fertilizer (dilution 600x) + Pod Enlargement Agent (1000x) + Boron-Molybdenum Fertilizer (800x)." Focus the application on the middle and lower sections of the plants. Apply twice, with an interval of 7 to 10 days between applications.
Pod Enlargement Stage: Apply a foliar spray mixture of "Pengda Lili Bao (800x) + Boron-Molybdenum Fertilizer (600x)." Apply twice, with an interval of 10 days between applications, to promote full and plump kernels.
