1. Ethephon

Function:Releases ethylene, directly promoting fruit ripening, color development, and softening, thereby significantly shortening the maturation period. Simultaneously, it enhances the translocation of photosynthetic products to the fruit, indirectly boosting dry matter accumulation.

Applicable Crops: Climacteric fruits such as bananas, tomatoes, citrus, mangoes, loquats, etc.
Application Concentration:** Typically applied as a 0.1%–0.3% solution via fruit spraying or dipping; care should be taken to avoid phytotoxicity (e.g., fruit drop or browning caused by excessive concentration).

2. Triacontanol

Function:Enhances photosynthesis, increases chlorophyll content, and boosts amylase activity, thereby promoting dry matter accumulation and inducing earlier crop maturation.
Application Method: Foliar spray at a concentration of 0.5 ppm (i.e., 0.5 mg/L). For optimal results, apply once during the initial flowering stage and once during the full bloom stage.

3. Diethyl aminoethyl hexanoate (DA-6)

Function: Increases photosynthetic rates, enhances carbon and nitrogen metabolism, and delays senescence; promotes early ripening, yield increase, and quality improvement. It is suitable for use throughout the entire growth cycle and remains effective under low-temperature conditions.
Recommended Concentration: 10–20 mg/L; apply via spraying 2–3 times during the young fruit stage and the fruit expansion stage.

4. Brassinolide

Function: Promotes cell elongation and division, increases fruit setting rates and individual fruit weight, and improves fruit uniformity and coloration; accelerates maturation by 25%–40%.
Application Timing: Apply via spraying during the initial flowering stage, the young fruit stage, and the fruit expansion stage.

5. Forchlorfenuron (KT-30, CPPU)

Function: Although primarily known for promoting fruit enlargement and preserving flowers and fruit, it can also indirectly support early ripening and quality improvement by stimulating cell division and directing the allocation of dry matter. (Note: Excessive application may delay color development.)
