Both Sodium Nitrophenolates and DA-6 serve as raw materials for plant growth regulators; however, they can also be utilized independently. Let us now explore their shared characteristics as well as their respective unique attributes.

Similarities between Sodium Nitrophenolates and DA-6: Fundamentally Identical Functions

Sodium Nitrophenolates: Promotes the streaming of cellular protoplasm, enhances cell vitality, accelerates growth rates, breaks dormancy, stimulates growth and development, prevents flower and fruit drop, improves product quality, increases yields, and boosts the crop's resistance to various stresses—including disease, pests, drought, waterlogging, cold, salinity/alkalinity, and lodging.

DA-6: Promotes photosynthesis. DA-6 increases the content of chlorophyll, proteins, and nucleic acids, as well as photosynthetic efficiency. It enhances the activity of peroxidase and nitrate reductase, accelerates the rate of photosynthesis, increases the plant's uptake of CO2, regulates the plant's carbon-to-nitrogen (C/N) ratio, strengthens the plant's disease resistance, prevents flower and fruit drop, promotes fruit enlargement and root development, and ultimately results in vigorous overall plant growth, lush green foliage, and high yields.

Differences between Sodium Nitrophenolates and DA-6:

Sodium Nitrophenolates appear as orange-red crystals; DA-6 appears as white crystals.
Sodium Nitrophenolates offer rapid efficacy; DA-6 offers long-lasting effects and is considered relatively safer.
Aqueous solutions of Sodium Nitrophenolates (Atonik) are slightly alkaline; aqueous solutions of DA-6 are slightly acidic.

Sodium Nitrophenolates take effect quickly but maintain their efficacy for a shorter duration; DA-6 takes effect more slowly but maintains its efficacy for a longer duration.
Sodium Nitrophenolates perform poorly under low-temperature conditions; DA-6 remains highly effective even at low temperatures.

In the short term, Sodium Nitrophenolates can quickly turn crops green and stimulate the sprouting of new buds; DA-6 promotes crop growth by stimulating development throughout the entire plant body, resulting in superior yield-enhancing effects.
